INTRODUCING DAYFORCE

This Friday, January 3rd employees will be paid using our newly launched payroll & HR software, Dayforce. To assist with any unforeseen situations, the call center located at 1849 Pond Rd. will be open from 10am – 1pm, telephone number 631-319-8699. All employees are required to log-in and update their State and Federal Tax Forms. If you have not updated your tax forms as of December 30th, your tax elections have been defaulted to single no dependents. Updating your tax forms before Tuesday, January 7th, will be reflected in next week’s paycheck.

JANUARY REFRESHER SCHEDULE

Classes are filling up quickly. You can register on My Parking Space, click on “MY CLASSES,” click on “UPCOMING” and choose the class of your choice. Please make sure you choose the CORRECT LOCATION – Saxon, 1780 Smithtown Ave (listed as 1849 Pond Rd) or Coram. To be in compliance you must attend the full 2-hour class. It is courteous of your fellow employees and the instructor to be on time for the class.

 CDL PERMIT CLASS

 Our CDL Permit Class is a great opportunity for our DAs, our families, and friends to learn more about our great Company. Our next two CDL permit classes will be held as follows: 

January 4, 2025Saturday8 AM – 4 PM1780 Smithtown Ave.
January 18, 2025Saturday8 AM – 4 PM1780 Smithtown Ave.

This class is free, and everyone is welcome. To register, please email Karen Sheehan: and include your first and last name as well as your contact number. Remember, for a limited time we offer a $1,000 for every driver’s referral and you will receive the referral bonus 60 days after they are assigned a bus route.

 MEDICAL EXAMINER CERTIFICATES

All drivers should remember to always have in their wallet the Medical Examiner’s Certificate issued to them when they had their last physical. You will be asked for this card when you report to Safety & Training for your 19A recertifications. You may also need to produce this to the police if involved in an accident.
